Obsequio Group makes the FEBE Growth 100 Lists for 2nd Year Running
We are thrilled to announce that Obsequio Group has once again been named one of the 100 fastest-growing founder-led companies in the UK, as per the prestigious FEBE (For Entrepreneurs by Entrepreneurs) Growth 100 Awards. This year, we are proud to have secured 44th in the list, reflecting the hard work, dedication and commitment our entire team have shown to provide excellence across the compliance sector.
In 2023, we ranked with 180 employees and this year that figure has risen to 251 employees from across the group, thanks to our exceptional sales performance and strategic acquisitions. Over the past year, we have continued to build on this momentum, further solidifying our position as a leader in the industry with the addition of Brunel Fire & Security and Bryland Fire Protection.
Our impressive growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. With sales nearing £35 million, we have expanded our service offerings and geographical reach. This growth has been driven by our all of companies—CDS, Genex, Drax 360, Drax Technology, APS, Brunel, and Bryland—who provide comprehensive fire safety, suppression, water, energy, and security compliance services to organisations across the UK.
Expanding Our Reach
The FEBE Growth 100 Awards recognise companies that achieve outstanding sales and profit in challenging economic conditions. The criteria includes annual sales of between £3 million and £100 million, active founder involvement, and year-on-year growth. Obsequio Group has excelled in these areas, under the leadership of our founders, Simon Cashmore and Simon Abley.
Since our inception, we have been committed to creating a one-stop-shop for all aspects of safety and compliance, making life easier for facilities managers and responsible persons across various sectors. Our services span business parks to universities, hospitals to high-rises, student accommodations to leisure centres, and everything in between, ensuring the safety and compliance of numerous buildings and organisations.
Our success is rooted in our ‘buy and build’ strategy, which focuses on broadening our geographical coverage, enhancing our service capabilities, and expanding our market presence. Since our last FEBE growth recognition, we have acquired two more companies, Brunel and Bryland, further strengthen our group compliance service offering with the addition of advanced security solutions and fire suppression specialism.
